Structure of the Nigerian Navy

Just like the other Nigerian armed forces, the rank of an officer in the Nigerian Navy depends upon seniority.

There are 2 categories under which officers of the Nigerian Navy can be under.

These categories are Commissioned and Non-Commissioned.

A non-commissioned Nigerian navy officer may not have a degree from a higher educational institute.

These officers are only responsible for the physical part.
